Art_Deco_in_New_York

This book, contained in a square red case, opens like an accordion so that you can see the twelve New York buildings, chosen for their Art Deco influence. The aesthetic influence of this artistic trend can be felt even in the shape of a triangle formed when the book is removed from the case, which serves as a stand for the book. This book is printed in the old-fashioned way, using a manual Vandercook machine with movable type mounted by the artist herself. The texts, engraved plate drawings and photographs and all the printing and binding were produced by the artist. This book, created by the artist, was made n location at the Center for Book Arts in New York.
